Lomé, December 24, 2024 - The grounds of CEG Adakpamé in Dabarakondji vibrated to the rhythm of solidarity and living together, during the "Une Grande Course 2024" event, organized under the theme "Sport, a universal language for social cohesion". Hundreds of participants came together to celebrate human values through a unique sporting competition.

Initiated by BARON GROUPE in partnership with the Sport Santé GABALASSIWA collective, this edition was marked by the presence of SATSIMA, the event's official sponsor. A multi-talented artist - visual artist, singer, composer, actor and percussionist - SATSIMA embodied the link between tradition and modernity, bringing a festive cultural touch to the event.
The artist, known for his social commitment, expressed his honor and willingness to advance the causes of youth and social cohesion through art. "Being a sponsor of this course is more than an honor. It's a duty to show our young people that, together, we can build a more harmonious society," he declared in his opening speech.

The 10-kilometer course transformed the streets of Lomé into a lively stage, with traditional songs and cheering. Participants were carried along by a collective energy, symbolized by traditional instruments such as cascagnettes, reinforcing the message of unity.
The event focused on three main themes: promoting health by raising awareness among young people of the benefits of physical activity, strengthening community spirit by encouraging intercultural exchanges, and federating around the civic values of citizenship, responsibility and peace.

By blending heritage and modernity, SATSIMA has become a symbol for Togolese youth. Its participation in the Grande Course 2024 illustrates the idea of a shared future, based on the fusion of art, tradition and innovation.
As the sun set over Dabarakondji, the happy faces of the participants testified to the success of the initiative. The Grande Course 2024 will remain engraved as a celebration of social cohesion, a true reminder that every gesture, every note and every fault contributes to building a more united world.
