In an effort to strengthen Sudan’s presence on African platforms, an important meeting took place between General Malik Agar, Vice-President of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, and H.E. Mrs. Hazar Abdelrasoul, Minister of Youth and Sports. This meeting was honored by the presence of Salah Omar Mohamed, Sudan’s Delegate to the ARFSD11 Forum and National Director of the AYUC Sudan Office.
Constructive Dialogue
During this meeting, Salah Omar Mohamed presented a report on his recent participation in the Youth Leaders Summit in Ethiopia, organized by the Pan African Youth Union (PYU), as well as his contribution to the 11th African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD11) held in Kampala, Uganda. The discussions also focused on the ongoing preparations for the « Africa for Sudan – Youth » Forum, scheduled to take place in Sudan in early May.
A Forum for African Youth
This forum is jointly organized by the Pan African Youth Union (PYU) and the African Youth Commission (AYUC), under the high patronage of the Sudanese Ministry of Youth and Sports. General Malik Agar reaffirmed the state’s full support for this forum, highlighting the importance of strengthening communication bridges between Sudanese youth and their African counterparts.

Mrs. Hazar Abdelrasoul reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to mobilizing all necessary resources to ensure the success of this major continental event. She recognized the central role of youth in building the future of Sudan and Africa.
