On March 7 in Lomé, the Association des grandes entreprises du Togo (AGET) unveiled the fifth edition of its White Paper, a strategic document setting out 181 recommendations for boosting the national economy.
Structured around four themes - infrastructure modernization, social inclusion, competitiveness and attractiveness - the report puts forward solutions to the challenges of land, energy and business financing.
Under the banner of innovation, investment and public policy, this White Paper 2024 aims to make Togo a more diversified and competitive economy.
The government, through the Minister of Commerce, Rose Kayi Mivedor, welcomed this initiative, which strengthens public-private dialogue. The AGET, with its 89 members generating sales of 1,456 billion FCFA by 2023, thus reaffirms its key role in the country's economic transformation.
