Togo-Vietnam: Half a Century of Enhanced Cooperation

On February 8, Togo and Vietnam celebrated the 50ᵉ anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations, initiated in 1975.

This partnership, rooted in a shared vision and mutual interests, has gradually consolidated to encompass key sectors such as agriculture, the economy, trade, investment, education, science and culture.

Under the impetus of Presidents Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé and Luong Cuong, a new dynamic has taken hold in recent years, further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Recently, the two nations reaffirmed their desire to pursue this strategic collaboration, with the ambition of maintaining fruitful and lasting exchanges.
