The Togolese government is pursuing its commitment to improving access to healthcare by investing massively in health infrastructure. An investment of 8.3 billion FCFA has been allocated to the construction of 70 new medical centers in the regions of Kara, Centrale and Plateaux. This initiative aims to reduce regional disparities and guarantee access to quality healthcare for all Togolese, regardless of their location.
The projects underway are part of a broader vision: the construction of 200 health centers and the rehabilitation of 300 others by 2025. These efforts are part of a national strategy to modernize the healthcare system and integrate cutting-edge technologies, with the ambition of meeting the growing needs of both rural and urban populations.
By focusing on accessibility and quality of care, the government hopes to offer every citizen the means for optimal care, whatever their region of origin.
