Following the official launch of the election campaign on February 8, Union pour la République (UNIR) party executives from the Akebou constituency continued their mobilization this Sunday with a visit to Kamina, capital of the Akebou 2 commune . The meeting was marked by enriching exchanges on the role of the Senate, the parliamentary system and the advantages of the 5ᵉ Republic, in the presence of several political figures and members of the prefectural coordination.

An educational event to improve understanding of institutions
The meeting's leading figures included the Honourable Deputy Kodjo GNATSE , coordinator of the Akebou prefectural committee, the Honourable MBOMA Améyo Dianti , Councillor KERETCHO Komina , and SP BOCKEY Komla . The latter gave presentations aimed at informing local elected representatives and the general public about the workings of the Republic's institutions and the crucial role of senators in the new institutional architecture.
In particular, Mr. Kodjo GNATSE outlined the current reforms and the Senate's remit under the 5ᵉ Republic, underlining its importance in strengthening democratic governance in Togo. The audience was thus able to deepen its knowledge by putting various questions to the speakers, testifying to a keen interest in institutional issues.
A call for unity and vigilance for the development of Akebou

At the heart of this meeting, the message from the incumbent candidate BLAMCK Koffi Léyé and his deputy OTCHOT HO Kwami emphasized the union of the sons and daughters of Akebou for the harmonious development of the prefecture. Insisting on the need for a collective commitment, they reminded the audience that only strong cohesion between the territory's various driving forces will accelerate progress and improve people's living conditions.
