In a bid to optimize administrative management and facilitate access to public services, Togo's Ministry of Commerce, Handicrafts and Local Consumption has announced the launch of six key services on the national service-public.gouv.tg platform.
These dematerialized services cover several sectors, including trade and craft. Procedures now available online include applications for prior authorization certificates for imports of sensitive products, marketing authorizations for foodstuffs, and applications for importer/exporter cards. The non-ECOWAS certificate of origin is also now available on the platform.
In the craft sector, professionals can now make online applications to register for the Certificat de Fin d'Apprentissage (CFA) exams, as well as to obtain this diploma.
Users will be able to fill in forms online, consult detailed information on administrative procedures and access integrated virtual technical support. The aim of this development is to simplify procedures for citizens and businesses, while improving the efficiency of public services.
Rose Kayi Mivedor, Minister of Commerce, emphasizes that this digitization is not an important step in the modernization of public administration, and testifies to Togo's commitment to offering more efficient and accessible services. By dematerializing these procedures, the government aims to reduce constraints for citizens and strengthen the country's economic competitiveness.
