On Monday June 9, the people of Kovié, in the Zio prefecture, marked the 24ᵉ edition of their traditional "Kovié Dukɔ Kpedazã" festival.
The event was attended by leading figures including the President of the National Assembly, Sévon-Tépé Kodjo Adedze, members of the government, and a delegation from Ghana.
This celebration was an opportunity to thank God for local and national progress, while highlighting cultural riches and local products through exhibitions and artistic performances.
The President of the National Assembly recalled that unity, faith and collective action are essential to sustainable development. Several personalities involved in Kovié's development received honorary awards during the celebration.
