Togo reaffirmed its commitment to artificial intelligence (AI) as a vector for development at the Summit for Action on AI, held on February 11 in Paris.

In an exchange with decision-makers, researchers and startups, the Minister emphasized the importance of a structural and sustainable approach to AI, stressing that it must not be a mere conjunctural response. Cina Lawson also hailed the meeting as an essential step towards strengthening AI ecosystems in Africa and empowering former citizens to take up the digital challenge.
