The Port of Lomé has just added to its list of awards. On Friday February 16 in Lomé, the platform was awarded the West African prize for good corporate governance by Prudence Finance Solution (PFS).
The prize, now in its 2nd year, is "an incentive that guides the company towards achieving the objectives defined in terms of coverage of the guiding principles", explained Kaglan Komlan Sitsopé, head of mission at PFS.
In concrete terms, the award recognizes social governance, financial governance, safety governance and risk prevention within the port platform.
Last year, the Port of Lomé was awarded the prize for "Best Transit and Transshipment Traffic" in 2022, as well as "Best Integrated Management System Policy".
