With the February 15, 2025 senatorial elections just days away, the Union pour la République (UNIR) party is stepping up its campaign in the Binah prefecture. On February 7 and 8, meetings were held in Pagouda and Kétao respectively, under the chairmanship of prefectural coordinator Sani Yaya, in the presence of several party executives, including Christian Eninam Trimua and local deputies.

Discussions highlighted the stakes involved in this election, the first of the 5ᵉ Republic, and the importance for the major electors - municipal and regional councillors - of supporting the UNIR candidate, Koudjolou Dogo, as well as his deputy P'Kla Tuw-Éléou. The aim is to strengthen the party's majority and support President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé in his development policy.

Christian Eninam Trimua recalled that the new Constitution, promulgated by the Head of State, reflects the will of the people and aims for national progress. With a strong mobilization, the UNIR Binah seems well on the way to winning by a wide margin in this strategic review.
