Preparations for Togo's senatorial elections are moving ahead, with the publication this Friday, January 10, 2025, by CENI of the provisional list of accepted candidates.
This list will be available at 3pm at the school's head office and will include the names of candidates whose applications have been validated after verification.
In the event of a dispute, the candidates concerned must refer the matter to the Constitutional Court within 72 hours.
Once candidacies have been definitively validated, candidates will have 48 hours to pay a deposit to the Treasury (300,000 FCFA for men and 150,000 FCFA for women), failing which their candidacy will be cancelled.
The senatorial elections, scheduled for February 15, will see the election of 41 senators.
