As part of the campaign for the senatorial elections on February 15, 2025, the Union pour la République (UNIR) party delegation, led by Ibrahima Mémounatou, Vice-President in charge of Grand-Lomé, met with community leaders from the 13 communes of Grand-Lomé on Monday February 10, 2025.

The aim of the meeting was to inform and raise awareness among traditional chiefs, heads of development committees and religious leaders of the issues at stake in the senatorial elections and the 5th Republic.

Party officials detailed the role of the senator and the objectives of constitutional reform, stressing the importance of strengthening national unity.

The UNIR's objective is to win the four senatorial seats in this region. Meetings will continue in the communes of Grand-Lomé.
