On February 8, 2025, the official launch of the campaign for the senatorial election in the Akébou prefecture took place in the town hall meeting room. The incumbent candidate, Blamck Koffi Léyé, accompanied by his deputy, Otchotcho Kwami, marked the occasion with a united presence, symbolizing the strength of their alliance.

The launch was attended by many of the region's most influential figures, including the Honourable Kodjo Gnatse, the Honourable M'Boma Améyo Dianti, Councillor Kérécho Komina and Permanent Secretary Bockey Komla. These leading figures, all members of the prefectoral coordination, showed their unwavering support for the candidates.

The ceremony was attended by the mayor, municipal councillors, the party's grassroots structures, executives, department heads, traditional chiefs, as well as leaders of associations, women's and youth groups, and the living forces of the prefecture.

The agenda focused on presenting the candidates and officially launching their campaigns.

The event marked the start of an electoral race that promises to be rich in debate and commitment to the prefecture's development.
