Nino Baron, real name EFFOE Assou, director of Baron Group Production and renowned cultural promoter, is back in the spotlight with a new short film entitled "Beside the right, there is the duty..." . Following the success of his previous films, including "Héritage", Nino Baron continues to defend civic values through cinema.

Produced by its production company, Baron Group Prod, known for the successful web series "Ma Famille 228", in collaboration with Steven AF's DAYEEK Production, this new short film offers a reflection on civic-mindedness and life in society. Alongside rights, there's duty..." invites viewers to reflect on the balance between rights and duties in their daily lives.
Raising awareness
According to the director, the aim of the film is to raise awareness of the importance of this balance. "We often talk about rights, but we forget that with every right comes a duty. Young people, in particular, claim their rights without always fulfilling their responsibilities. This film aims to remind us that respect for duties is also essential for a harmonious society," explains Nino Baron.
The short film tackles themes such as citizenship, mutual respect and civic-mindedness. It also aims to correct some of the uncivil behavior observed on a daily basis. Although civic education is taught in schools, a gap persists between the values inculcated and everyday practices. Through scenes from everyday life, punctuated with humor, the film offers a realistic and accessible vision in which the Togolese public will easily recognize itself.

"Next to right, there is duty..." is aimed at society as a whole, and at young people in particular. This short film promotes respect and unity, and calls for political and ethnic divisions to be overcome in order to strengthen social cohesion and love of neighbor", concludes the director.
Available now on YouTube on BARON GROUP PROD, the film will soon be broadcast on Togolese TV channels, giving wide exposure to this civic message.
