On Wednesday November 6, 2024, the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) announced the appointment of Eklu Siabi François Dodzi to the position of National Technical Director (DTN). A former captain of the Agaza de Lomé team, Dodzi succeeds Gnéni Sébabi as head of the National Technical Department.
With a UEFA A license, Eklu Siabi François Dodzi has 36 years' experience in soccer, having enjoyed a rewarding professional career in France. At Chamois Niortais, he held the role of sports coordinator, where he was responsible for overseeing and structuring player and team development. His return to Togo marks a new turning point for Togolese soccer, as he uses his expertise and know-how to propel the national sport forward.
François Dodzi Eklu Siabi is returning home to put his expertise at the service of national soccer. With a wealth of experience under his belt, notably at Niort where he oversaw the training of the reserve team, he is ready to make an active contribution to the development of the sport at national level.
His appointment will be made official tomorrow, Friday November 8, 2024, at a press conference held at the headquarters of the Togolese Football Federation (FTF).
