The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced an increase in the financial reward for the winner of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), to be held from February 1 to 28, 2025 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The reward amount has been increased by 75 % to 3.5 million US dollars (about 2.2 billion FCFA). In addition, the tournament's total prize fund has been increased by 32 % to $10.4 million.
Senegal, under the leadership of Souleymane Diallo, will have the opportunity to defend their title at the CHAN 2025.
