In the run-up to the municipal elections scheduled for 2025, Togo began revising its electoral rolls on Monday April 7. The first phase, known as "zone 1", concerns the Maritime region and the Haho prefecture. In this crucial electoral context, a number of local elected representatives are standing out for their commitment to teams in the field.

This is the case of local councillor DAROU Mabourouk in the commune of Agoè-Nyivé 4, who has chosen to lend concrete support to the agents of the Commission Liste et Carte (CLC). Since the launch of the operation, he has been criss-crossing the Electoral List Revision Centers (CRV) in his commune - notably those of Dikamé, Fidouikpi and Kotokoli-Zongo - to distribute hot meals to the mobilized agents.
This gesture, welcomed by several local players, is intended to encourage these agents in the accomplishment of their mission, which is often demanding and carried out in sometimes difficult conditions. "It's important to show our appreciation to those who make this essential step in the democratic process possible," said the councillor during one of his visits.

Through this social act of solidarity, DAROU Mabourouk reaffirms its commitment to participatory and inclusive democracy.
As a reminder, the revision of electoral rolls will continue from April 14 to 16 in zone 2, covering the Plateaux region as well as the prefectures of Blitta, Sotouboua and Tchamba. It will end from April 21 to 23, 2025 in zone 3, which includes the Savanes and Kara regions, as well as the prefectures of Tchaoudjo and Mô.
Through local initiatives such as the one in the Agoè-Nyivé 4 commune, the Togolese electoral process is gradually taking root in a dynamic of proximity and citizen mobilization.
