In 2025, the Togolese government plans to recruit over 14,000 new civil servants, mainly in education (around 8,000 positions), health (over 2,400 positions) and finance (800 positions).
The École Nationale d'Administration (ENA) will provide around a hundred additional graduates, while a general recruitment drive for 2,725 agents is underway.
Despite 1,300 retirements, the public sector will see a net increase of 12,800 new staff, bringing the total number of civil servants to over 71,000.
