On June 12 and 13, 2025, Lomé will host the first edition of the BOAD Development Daysa strategic meeting on sustainable finance in West Africa.
Organized by the West African Development Bank (BOAD), the meeting will bring together some 200 participants from 25 countries to discuss the financing of the energy transition and sustainable agriculture in the WAEMU region.
Discussions will focus in particular on universal access to electricity and the key role of agro-industry in ensuring food sovereignty.
Through this event, the BOAD intends to strengthen synergies between states, investors and development players, while highlighting the urgent need for concerted action in the face of the region's climatic and ecological challenges.
