On Saturday, September 14, 2024, Association Sportive de la Kozah ( ASKO) were knocked out by Djoliba AC of Mali in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Away from home at Bamako's Stade du 26 mars, ASKO de Kara were beaten 1-0, Zoumana Simpora scoring from a controversial penalty in the 20th minute.
Despite their best efforts to get back into the game, the Togolese were unable to turn things around. The final whistle sealed a 1-0 defeat for Yao César Lambert Amani's colts.
