The Confederation of Sahel States (AES) is about to take a major step towards facilitating travel within the region. After a long wait, the AES passport will be officially available from January 29, 2025.

These ECOWAS passports, valid for five years, remain a temporary solution for those wishing to travel before the arrival of the new document.
