At the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama in Accra on Tuesday, January 07, 2024, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of the Transition in Burkina Faso, made his mark by retiring his beret before greeting Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Ghana's new Vice-President.

This symbolic gesture, imbued with respect, highlights the recognition of the values embodied by women in African societies. "Women are the guardians of tradition, the mothers of humanity. She deserves every possible respect," emphasized Captain Traoré, paying vibrant tribute to their essential role.
