In Kpalimé, prices vary between 5,000 and 8,000 F.CFA, although a drop is expected with the arrival of the rains, which could bring prices down to 2,000 F.CFA.
Other foodstuffs are also subject to significant fluctuations: at the Avéta market, red maize sells for 850 F.CFA, while beans vary between 2,000 and 2,500 F.CFA. In Akodésséwa, white maize is selling at 700 F.CFA, while soya and sorghum are holding steady at 1,000 F.CFA.
Prices are slightly lower in Vogan and Anfoin, where maize sells for between 300 and 400 F.CFA and gari for 450 F.CFA. In Notsè, white or red maize is priced at 700 F.CFA, with beans fluctuating between 2,000 and 2,200 F.CFA.
