EmerGa, a French association that stands out for its commitment to the development of innovative technological projects in crucial sectors such as emergency medicine, civil security and helping people in need.
It was with remarkable enthusiasm that young inventor Yvis Hervé recently appealed for support for the EmerGa association in an interview with our colleagues on the technology news website Techenafrique.com.
The inspiring journey of Hervé Yvis
Born in Niamey, Niger, in 1997, Hervé Yvis is a courageous young entrepreneur. After graduating from high school, the Franco-Nigerian moved to Rennes, France, to study computer science. Fascinated by entrepreneurship, the following year he launched ZakiGames, a platform dedicated to the promotion and distribution of African video games.
It was at the end of 2019, during his many ZakiGames-related travels, that Hervé had the idea of creating an app to quickly identify and contact emergency services worldwide.
His "FABA" application has become one of the most popular rescue apps on the Google Play Store, with over 40,000 installations. It has also been recommended by several universities and inspired researchers in a project supported by the European Union.
In 2023, FABA was entrusted to EmerGa, a French non-profit first-aid association recognized as being in the public interest, with over 75 volunteers across France. Despite the association's prowess, Hervé Yvis never misses an opportunity to call for support for EmerGa.
