On Sunday February 9, 2025, the Youth and Student Council of the Kpélé prefecture held an extraordinary meeting at the Hotel Carrington, chaired by Mr. MELESUSU Yawo Raphael. The meeting brought together delegates from the nine cantons, from Akata to Elé, and was an opportunity for the leader to wish the youth and students a happy new year.

Discussions focused on youth development initiatives, including the establishment of a youth self-help program and strategies to encourage youth participation in the Ewemoza festival. The presentation of EWEMOZA loincloths was also a highlight of the meeting, reinforcing participants' cultural identity.


Mr. MELESUSU took the opportunity to recognize several members for their dynamism and commitment. The meeting ended in an atmosphere of peace and solidarity, accompanied by a convivial snack. EWEMOZA loincloths are available for sale at 2,000 FCFA, reinforcing the community and festive spirit of the event.
