D1 Lonato: ASCK crowned champion, Étoile Filante shipwrecked and Doumbé in D2

ASCK are Togo champions! This Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the end of the 26th and final day of the D1 Lonato, Les Chauffeurs de la Kozah clinched their second national crown with a clear 3-0 victory over AS Binah. This decisive performance puts them ahead of Gbohloe-su, despite the Requins mâles' success in Lomé.

At the bottom of the table, the verdict is in: Étoile Filante and Doumbé FC have been relegated to the second division, sealing a painful season for these two historic clubs.

ASCK, confirmation at the top

It all came down to the second half at the Welou stadium. After a tense and sterile first half, King Ametokodo's men made their presence felt. Three express goals (63', 73', 75') put an end to the suspense and gave the Chauffeurs a well-deserved title. Gbohloe-su, who beat AS OTR (1-0), finished second and will be competing in the CAF Cup for the first time in their history.

L'Étoile s'éteint, Doumbé sans espoir

In Kpalimé, Étoile Filante still had a chance of staying up. Trailing to Gomido, Les Bleus de la Capitale came from behind but failed to force a 1-1 draw. This draw, combined with Haknour's cruel defeat by Entente II (1-2), officially condemned them to relegation. For Doumbé FC, the die had long been cast: a tasteless draw (0-0) with Espoir FC concluded a nightmarish season, marked by a mere 12 points and an abysmal goal difference (-40).

ASKO finishes with a bang, Entente II in ambush

In Atakpamé, ASKO put on a show of attacking fireworks to close the 2024-2025 season. The Kondonas crushed AS Tambo (4-1), finishing in a respectable fifth place, just one point off the podium. Entente II, for their part, pulled off an incredible comeback against Haknour with two stoppage-time goals (90' and 90+4'), validating a solid season punctuated by 42 points.
