As part of its commitment to transparency and good governance, the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection has launched an online platform enabling citizens to confidentially report abuse or inappropriate behavior by law enforcement and security forces.
The types of abuse that can be reported include abuse of power, disproportionate use of force, arbitrary arrest, corruption, extortion, discriminatory treatment, and failure to respect citizens' fundamental rights. This initiative aims to strengthen trust between the population and the forces of law and order, while guaranteeing security that respects human rights.
