As part of the celebrations for the 65ᵉ anniversary of Togo's independence, Prime Minister Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, representing the Head of State, inaugurated this Friday, April 25, 2025, the new factory of Benart Afrique, a company specializing in the manufacture of military uniforms and professional civilian clothing. The event took place in Datcha, in the Ogou prefecture, in the presence of the President of the National Assembly, several members of the government, local and regional authorities, and a large and enthusiastic crowd.

The first of its kind in the Plateaux region, this industrial unit marks a turning point for the local and national economic fabric. It becomes the fourth factory to be inaugurated in just 72 hours, illustrating the dynamism of the Togolese government's proactive industrial policy, under the aegis of the President of the Republic.

With production capacity in line with international standards and ISO 9001 certification, the Benart Afrique factory aims to establish itself as a center of excellence in military and professional clothing in West Africa. It is expected to create around 200 direct jobs and almost 600 indirect jobs, thereby helping to combat unemployment and promote economic inclusion in the region.

The governor of the Plateaux region, General Dadja Maganawé, praised in his speech the Head of State's constant commitment to a strong, resilient and prosperous Togo. He also thanked the promoter of Benart Afrique for his contribution to the region's industrial development.

Taking the floor, Benart Afrique's Managing Director, Mr. Zotoglo Dominique, expressed his pride at seeing such a high-impact project come to fruition, underlining the company's determination to respond effectively to the growing need for technical clothing in African countries.

This inauguration reinforces the national ambition to make industry a real driver of sustainable and inclusive growth.
