The President of the Republic of Togo, SEM Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, is taking part this Saturday, February 1, 2025 in Accra, Ghana, in the third edition of the African Prosperity Dialogues (APD 2025).
This international forum, organized by the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) in collaboration with the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf), brings together African leaders, investors and economic operators around the central theme: "Realizing Africa's Single Markets through Infrastructure: Invest, Connect and Integrate".
Discussions at this year's event will focus on innovative approaches to infrastructure financing, with an emphasis on public-private partnerships. The aim is to overcome the challenges of economic integration between African countries, a crucial issue for the continent's development.
During the event, President Gnassingbé will share Togo's experience in mobilizing private investment, both foreign and domestic. This experience is based on structural reforms and a significant improvement in the business climate, which are essential to attract the capital needed for infrastructure development.
The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) is a pan-African organization dedicated to realizing the vision of "the Africa we want", as set out in the African Union's Agenda 2063. APN places particular emphasis on industrialization, infrastructure development, economic diversification, as well as finance and security issues.
This event is part of a dynamic of cooperation and sustainable development, aimed at strengthening economic ties between African nations and promoting shared prosperity on the continent.
