Togolese Angela Aquereburu Rabatel has been appointed Managing Director of Société de Radio et de Télévision du Bénin (SRTB), according to an official announcement made this Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the close of Benin's Council of Ministers.
Renowned for her expertise in audiovisual production, she is now combining this new role with the management of the national television station, Bénin TV. Succeeding Freddy Koudahoua, her mission will be to modernize infrastructures, boost audience numbers and diversify content to meet the expectations of a constantly evolving audience.
Continuing in Togo for her successful productions, notably the web series Ahoé , Angela Aquereburu has established herself as a key figure on the African audiovisual scene. Director, producer and author, she is also behind several acclaimed creations, including Les Maternelles d'Afrique , L'Interrogatoire , Hospital IT and Oasis .
With this appointment, she is poised to take on a major challenge, bringing her expertise and vision to bear on Benin's media landscape.
