Faced with growing security challenges, the Savanes region received substantial support in 2024 under the impetus of the President of the Republic, Faure GNASSINGBÉ.
Among the flagship initiatives, 1,000 hectares of lowlands have been developed to encourage more efficient farming. At the same time, 21,000 tonnes of food fertilizers were distributed, boosting the productivity of local producers.
In addition, 542 agricultural operators received subsidies for the acquisition of equipment, boosting their production capacity and competitiveness on the market.
These actions testify to the authorities' determination to improve the resilience of rural populations and support agricultural development in a region in search of stability.
