Togo recently announced the dematerialization of twelve administrative procedures essential to the establishment and operation of businesses, under the aegis of the Investment Promotion Agency and the Free Zone (API-ZF).
This initiative, presented on January 29, 2025, enables companies to carry out their procedures online via dedicated platforms, facilitating access to approvals and other administrative formalities.
Manuella Santos, Minister of Industry and Investment Promotion, stressed that this reform aims to position Togo as a competitive investment hub in West Africa, by strengthening the country's attractiveness and simplifying procedures for investors.
This approach is part of a wider strategy to digitalize public services, with the aim of making three quarters of administrative procedures paperless by the end of the year.
