In 2024, the Emergency Program for the Savannah Region (Programme d'Urgence pour la Région des Savanes - PURS), launched in response to an increasingly worrying security situation, began a phase of expansion across the whole of Togo.
With a projected budget of 326 billion FCFA, this initiative, under the leadership of President Faure GNASSINGBÉ, aims to strengthen infrastructures and support populations in sensitive areas.
This ambitious initiative responds to an urgent need for stabilization, while promoting sustainable development in a strategic region of the country.
