From December 20 to 22, 2024a landmark event dedicated to empowering women in gaming and cryptocurrency. The "Amazon Women Starter Programme" will be led by three female figureheads: Barbara Fifonsi HOUNMENOUPresident of Benin Women Esports, Jitka TOMKOVA, Manager of the HP Global Education & Digital Equity program, and Ines Lowe SALLCountry Manager of Yellow Card Senegal.
The women announced at this unique event, focused on training, talent spotting and the inclusion of women in the eSport and technology sectors, will be supported by Loic KASSA, Yellow Card Benin Country Manager, Jean de Dieu SOVONFrancophone Regional Editor of Global Voices and Kofi Sika LATZOO co-founder of Gamecampcities.

December 20, 2024 - HP Gaming Garage workshop
Participants will have the opportunity to discover the world of video games and eSports thanks to an interactive workshop organized by HP Gaming Garage. The program, a free online masterclass, will highlight careers in eSports, game management and programming. Young talent will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in areas such as game design and eSports management.
December 22, 2024 - Cryptocurrency and Blockchain training with Yellow Card
Starting at 9 a.m., participating women will attend a training session dedicated to cryptocurrency and blockchain . The program will cover the basics of cryptocurrencies, trading techniques and the growing impact of blockchain technology in the video game industry. Participants will learn how to create and manage a crypto wallet, and will be able to put their questions to experts in the field.
Bewoes eSport Tournament
Following the training, an eSport tournament will be organized, featuring popular games such as FC24 and NBA 2K24 . This tournament will enable women to showcase their skills as players and leaders. Prizes will be awarded to the best player, and networking opportunities will be offered, creating an inclusive space for women with a passion for gaming.
