Togo continues to make headway in the modernizing public administration. The Ministry of Security and Civil Protection, in partnership with Agence Togo Digital (ATD), recently announced the online launch of new administrative procedures designed to simplify citizens' lives.
From now on, it will be possible to apply online for authorization for tinted windows, security coverage for private events, electrification of barbed wire or authorization to enter Togolese territory. These new services, accessible via the national portal, meet a triple objective: to simplify administrative procedures, reduce processing times and enhance the efficiency of public administration.
This initiative is part of a global dematerialization program which, for several years now, has been aimed at transforming the relationship between citizens and the administration. The government has set itself the target of making 75% of administrative procedures digital by 2025. These new procedures will enhance an already extensive platform, enabling users to carry out numerous formalities online, without having to go anywhere.
With this increased digitalization, Togo is reaffirming its ambition to modernize its administrative infrastructures, while offering more accessible, transparent and efficient public services to its citizens.
