On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Mr. Mohamed Abdelwahab, Egyptian Consul in Venezuela, welcomed a delegation of young Egyptians, including members of the Egyptian Youth Movement. Jeunesse Nasser, at a dinner on the sidelines of the World Conference of Youth and Students against fascism.

During the meeting, the consul gave diplomatic advice on the importance of cultural and scientific exchanges, and stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and Venezuela. The Egyptian delegation also took part in the march celebrating the "World Day of the Venezuelan Student", which brought together thousands of Venezuelan students and representatives of the world's youth.

Members of the delegation included Dr Mohamed Ezz, Bahaa Eddine Ahmed, Mohamed Gamal and Egyptian political representatives.

Hassan Ghazaly, founder of the Nasser Youth Movement, emphasized the strategic dimension of the delegation's participation in strengthening solidarity between young people in the Global South, particularly through Afro-Latino and Arab-Latino relations. He also recalled the importance of student movements in the fight against colonialism and their central role in social justice causes.
