The Akèpé soccer field in the Avé 2 commune was the scene this Thursday, September 12, 2024 of the apotheosis of the 1st edition of the soccer tournament organized by G fashion in collaboration with GR Club. Soccer was in the spotlight with the coronation of the Club Frère d'Azza soccer club.
Begun on August 30, 2024 under the theme "A smile for every child: School supplies for a better future" and with the participation of 10 teams, the tournament reached its epilogue on September 12, 2024.
The trophy went to Frère d'Azza FC, who beat Pro -TIM on penalties. At the end of normal time, the match had ended goalless.
At the end of the match, the winners and losers and all those who had distinguished themselves at the tournament were called up to the podium to receive their awards and trophies from the officials.
The event was enhanced by the presence of artists and sons of the legendary icon of Togolese music, notably Sethlo, Coni Gangster, Talakaka, Paki Chenzu, Totorino and Fuseni, all of whom thrilled their fans and amazed the Akèpé audience.
