Morocco won logically against Tanzania at the stadium after a goal by captain Romain Saïss in the 30th minute of the first half.
In the 2nd half, Morocco broke the deadlock. And it was the great midfielder Ounahi who added a 2nd goal in the 77th minute, much to the delight of the Moroccans.
En-Nseyri, who had missed a few chances, made up for it with a 3rd goal in the 80th minute. After a few seconds of hesitation, checks and VAR checks, the goal was finally validated.
And so it was that Morocco ended the match in style. Next up on Sunday is a closely-fought match against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
