Ministers, executives, UNIR party officials and legislative and regional candidates took turns to speak. The language, the watchword is unique: go and vote in peace, in living together, in social cohesion, in fair play and above all make the choice of the white pigeon, symbol of the great UNIR party. "We are with you today to invite you to be partisans of peace and social cohesion. We are counting on you, we know that on April 29, you will choose our great party for the umpteenth time. Voting UNIR means choosing progress, choosing development, choosing peace, choosing the vision of our great champion, distinguished militant SE FAURE E. GNASSINGBÉ. GNASSINGBÉ", said activist Dr Lidi Bessi Kama, a daughter and local executive.




For Sani Yaya, head of the UNIR party list for the legislative elections, the presence of thousands of women, young people and the general public at this major meeting is proof that the Union pour la République party has a solid base in BINAH, "Dear brothers and sisters, I and my fellow candidates were surprised and amazed by your support. Your presence here en masse demonstrates once again the mark of confidence you have in us, in our UNIR party president Faure E. Gnassingbé. In their speeches, other executives invited the population to show fair play, to vote in peace, and to make election day a day of celebration. The campaign continues with meetings between executives, organized groups, traditional chiefs and youth associations.




Togo is preparing to hold a double ballot on April 29, the legislative and regional elections, and the electoral campaign ends on April 27.
