This Sunday, March 30, the Togolese Muslim community celebrated Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Throughout the country, the faithful gathered for solemn prayers, giving thanks and imploring divine blessing for peace and national prosperity.

In Lomé, the esplanade of the Tokoin mosque hosted an emblematic prayer in the presence of the President of the Republic, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé. Accompanied by the Prime Minister and the President of the National Assembly, the Head of State shared this moment of meditation with the faithful, reaffirming his commitment to social cohesion and living together.

A few hours earlier, in his traditional message, the President extended his best wishes to the Muslim community in Togo and the diaspora. "May our shared values of solidarity, peace and living together prevail in this moment of communion and prayer", he declared, underlining the importance of these principles for a united and harmonious Togo.

This moment of spiritual fervor was an opportunity for the faithful to express their aspirations for a future marked by peace and stability, as the country continues its path towards development and national unity.
