Togo is preparing to celebrate the 65th anniversary of its accession to international sovereignty. To mark the occasion, the commune of Golfe 7, in the Autonomous District of Greater Lomé (DAGL), has announced a series of cultural and sporting activities to honor this historic date.
Starting this Saturday, January 18, 2025, a soccer tournament and a folk group competition will be held on the grounds of CEG Ségbé Douane every Saturday from 7am. These events, which are intended to reflect Togo's unity and cultural richness, invite all citizens to take an active part.

The Mayor of the commune launched a vibrant appeal for the mobilization of all residents to transform these festivities into a truly popular celebration. "Let's mobilize en masse to honor our history and reaffirm our pride in being Togolese," he declared in a press release issued on January 16, 2025.
A not-to-be-missed event to celebrate Togo's history and vitality in a spirit of patriotism and conviviality.
